§ 2-95. Established; duties.

  • (a)

    Pursuant to the Charter Ordinance adopted September 13, 1954, the village, pursuant to Wis. Stats. §§ 61.25, 61.26 and 66.0101, elected not to be governed by those portions of Wis. Stats. ch. 61, which are in conflict with this section.

    (b)

    The offices of village clerk and village treasurer were consolidated and the duties of both offices will be performed by the person appointed as village clerk-treasurer.

    (c)

    Such person appointed to perform the duties of the combined offices shall perform all duties required of both offices, as provided by law, and such other duties as are requested to be executed by such person by the village board from time to time, as well as such other and further duties with reference to the operation of and administration of the water and sewer facilities of the village.

    (d)

    Annual recurring audits shall be made of the records of such official and such audit shall be made by a certified public accountant.
